FEEDBACK
ON 2011 BOYKIN LITTER: Our puppy, Gino, did quite well for his first long car trip.
He never got sick and never whined at all. I been working with Gino just about every day since we arrive home.
He already is trained quite well. My son's friends ask if we bought the puppy
trained. I have used the clicker as you mention as part of my training.
Mostly reward training this early in the training process. Gino sits, stays,
heels, lays down, retrieves bumpers and comes. I already have him
on whistle commands. I have trained 6 dogs in my life time. Mostly all springers. I honestly can say that I don't remember any dogs responding so
quickly to the training. I know it is still early yet? But so far Gino has a great temperament, No
barking, great on car trips, sits nicely, likes other dogs, Very bold
and eager to explore, not afraid of loud noises. Likes retrieving and
swimming. So far so good. Our vet has check Gino and has given him a excellent bill of
health… I would like to have him compete in Hunting and field
trials. It was nice meeting. Thanks for a great pup. Tony HOME PAGE
KENNEL WELCOMES NEW TRAINER
Lady, an African Grey parrot, uses the well known CRAPR training technique as variation of clicker training
positive reinforcement: Consistently teaches command Repetition
of command And Praise
or Rewards good results She calls a dog by name several times, blows the whistle, orders a
command, Lures with
the biscuit, and then eats the dog’s lunch! J Well she
is still an apprentice! |
