Boulder Brook Jasmine whelped her litter on Sunday June 26 in Agawam MA. Since she was due July 5, I brought her on the trip to keep her from becoming anxious about my absence on a trip to Massachusetts. Naturally she took advantage of my kindness and decided to deliver early. Jasmine has qualified for the Orthopedic Foundation of America’s prestigious CHIC certificate (OFA hips, certified eyes CERF, certified patellas) and she has OFA CA cardiac pass as well. Her Sire is the UKC HRC best rated Boykin stud Mossy Oak's Cutty.

Sire of this litter is Boulder Brook Fireworks SR (Senior Hunter) call name Kracker. Kracker has also qualified for the OFA CHIC award and has his OFA CA pass. Kracker has 3 passes towards his Started retriever title and needs one more to complete it.

These pups have three generations of OFA certified hips and Eye Research Foundation CERF certifications for most ancestors .

Why is this litter one in a million? 1 in a 1000 Boykins born has earned the OFA CHIC health award and passed OFA CA (cardiac) exams. When BOTH parents have earned the CHIC award, it is a 1 in 1,000,000 event. Few Boykin litters can make this claim.
