Boulder Brook Kennel Puppy Guaranty

EFFECTIVE DATE APRIL 1, 2001

When a customer buys a Boykin Brook Kennel puppy we guarantee the following things:

The puppy's general health is guaranteed for 2 weeks after the date that it is shipped or picked up. There are no other implied warranties past 2 weeks other than those mentioned below. Any puppy returned must have a veterinarian statement explaining the puppy's health issue.

The puppy has parents which have been tested for good hips, and good eyes, and usually more health tests. This ensures the puppy has good genes to provide the best opportunity to have similar good hips and eyes.

Our veterinarian will conduct a thorough examination on any puppy being shipped before being shipped. It will come with a State of Virginia Health Certificate. Every pup comes with detailed kennel health records for worming and shots. All puppies will have at least the standard 6 week puppy vaccinations. We do not warrantee against intestinal worms which are easily eliminated. All owners are urged to have their own veterinarian perform a health check, and to put the puppy on continuing immunization program.

We do not warrant the temperament of our puppies. Temperament is determined by genetics and environment. We do not knowingly breed dogs with bad temperaments. Too often, nice puppies develop temperament problems as a result of the way they are raised. We have no control over environment.

Not registerable (NR) puppies are not warranteed and are sold "as is". They receive the same amount of care, worming, and shots as all our puppies, but are not registerable due to misplacement of white spots on their body or other problems for which I do not want the puppy registered. Puppies with small white spots on the upper chest may be registerable. All known problems will be noted on the sales agreement if asked – do not let me forget. Thanks.

A dog to be replaced must be returned to Boulder Brook Kennel (at the owners expense) with the original registration certificate transferring ownership to the kennel owner. There are no exceptions to this rule. The breeder will select a replacement puppy of equal or better quality. The owner of the pup isresponsible for the costs of health certificate and shipping the replacement dog.

Our warranty is a replacement puppy warranty and not a money back warranty. Only one replacement will be done. All warranty puppies must be registered with a Boulder Brook Kennel name prefix. Warranty puppies may be tattooed or have microchips.

There are no other implied or expressed warranties.
