You see, “Wahrto” is my kennel name. Until 150 to 200 years ago, at the hunting parties of the german nobility, the ordinary hunters (working as drivers) have to announce the game, which was seen inside of the closed forest. So every species of “high game” has an own exclamation: “Wahrto” was the exclamation, when there was found Red Deer or Wild Pigs.

With great interest I visited your home page (Ed. DW ): I found a picture of the whelps from Nora and Jaro. Jaro is the uncle of my dog Agathe, which you show on your website! Her father is Jason vom Heidehof ! (The mother is Asia (called: Ayla) Weigelsburg). Jaro and Jason don't have "red blood“ in their pedigree since 8 generations. So I was very surprised to have 5 (of 9) whelps with red hairs in my last <Wurf> (Ed. litter). As we recognize, we will become relatives soon (our dogs are cousins); and in memory of your aversion to red-haired Wachtelhunde, I maliciously remark, your dog will also have “red blood” inside :-)
